Tay Hylton, 33, had a long history of fraud and abuse, and he was involved in several criminal schemes involving the sale, distribution and sale of counterfeit and unapproved medications and consumer goods.

Hylton was arrested in June after he was indicted by a federal grand jury on eight counts of conspiracy, including mail and wire fraud and mail fraud with respect to the same enterprise.
The conspiracy charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, the information said. A possible sentence of up to six years in prison, with or without parole, was to run up to three years of supervised release and was subject to appeal.
